Who We Are
A Vision Rooted in Compassion
and Collaboration
Global Health Projects, Inc. is a nonprofit organization working to transform pediatric healthcare in Nigeria by strengthening intensive care capacity. Through targeted training, infrastructure development, and strategic partnerships, we help hospitals deliver adequate care to critically ill children.
Capacity Building
We train healthcare workers in advanced pediatric care, focusing on emergency and intensive care skills.
ICU Support
We equip and upgrade intensive care units (ICUs) across Nigeria to handle complex pediatric cases as they come
Collaboration
We foster partnerships between local health providers and global experts to build sustainable systems.
Our Story
Global Health Projects, Inc. was founded out of the urgent need to address gaps in pediatric intensive care across Nigeria. With inadequate infrastructure and a shortage of trained personnel, many children with life-threatening conditions do not survive due to lack of proper ICU support.
Our organization bridges this gap by building sustainable systems, offering advanced training to healthcare workers, and collaborating with national and international partners to equip health facilities. Our approach is not only to respond—but to build capacity that endures.
Our Mission
To build and maintain resilient health systems in Nigeria through local and international collaborations, with a focused commitment to developing systems and structures that support training in the delivery of adequate care for critically ill children within intensive care environments.
Our Vision
A Nigeria where no critically ill child dies due to a lack of pediatric intensive care capacity.
